Patrick Yurick is the multimedia instructor at High Tech High Chula Vista, California. Growing up in the small town of Farmington, NH, Patrick spent most of his time imagining worlds, watching cartoons, and reading comic books. In 2005, he earned a BS in graphic design from the New England Institute of Art. Realizing that the designer’s life was not for him, Patrick moved back to New Hampshire to explore his options. He started substitute teaching at his old high school, during which time he decided to follow his mother’s lead and become an art teacher. He received his MAT from Plymouth State University in 2008. Upon graduating, Patrick moved to San Diego where he has since happily remained.
